I've been having the same problem. Crysis 2 also freezes alot on me and thats been my main problem. My Xbox is from the early generation (purchased it in 2005) so maybe that has something to do with it. But these problems never occur with my other games (Dead Space 2 or Black Ops). sounds like your xbox is dying. i've just finished crysis 2 on the 360 and didn't notice any problems.
